SPEED is hosting a virtual webinar, Voices for Change (VFC), and we would like to have you join us! Below is an outline of what the organization is and what the event is about. We hope you are interested and willing to participate.

This year's VFC will be completely virtual. It will run from December 7th to December 13th. During this week, there will be several talks given by entrepreneurs, students, and professionals. They will focus on the following topic:
Impact of Millenials and Gen Z in Sustainability

Sustainable development is the idea that human societies must live and meet their needs without compromising future generations' ability to meet their own needs. With this said, the definition of a sustainable lifestyle has changed over the years to include overall wellbeing and the desire to improve living conditions for future generations. Today’s workforce, Millennials, are the first generation to have grown up with this concept and see it evolve throughout the years. We are interested in discussing what a sustainable lifestyle means for today's generation, for millennials and Gen Z. We want to explore how this generation acts to reach a sustainable life.

Within this theme we wish to dive into the following:

  • Social Sustainability and Quality of Life
  • Economic Development and Innovation
  • Environmental Action
